Sing it with me.....
"It's the most, wonderful time...of the year!"
Least for us anyways. Thanks Obama, for the extra $800 tax credit. I'd really appreciate it though, if you would let us get the EIC for each kiddo, not just a cap of 3. I'd like to think I am doing the USA a favor by having 4 such wonderful American citizens. After all, they'll be running the country when he's done with, whatever it is he's trying to do with it.
Trying to explain taxes to a 6 year old is an interesting task. The Daredevil's eyes glazed over when I explained about taking money out to pay for roads, the president, policemen, etc. But when I explain it as boring paperwork to get money to get disneyland passes, it all becomes clear to him!
I feel like a kid again and it's Christmas morning waiting for that sum to hit my bank account. Logging in each morning is like opening a present with less mess. And as soon as I see that balance rise, off to Disneyland so the princess can see her castle, and I can spend even more time gossiping with friend in line. Most everyone has passes already, and for the first time, the Genius even has a friend that has a pass who can go too.
So in anticipation, I'm getting the double stroller ready. The Princess can almost make it one lap around the mall, which is a mile, but she's usually grumpy after that. Besides, I need the extra room for sweaters & snacks. I dug out the double that's been sitting in the hall closet for the past 6 months.
Let me tell you....EWWWWWWW. There is enough food for 4 kids stuck underneath the seats. There's fries, animal crackers, and who knows what mashed under there. And the seat covers are STICKY. Thank goodness for it being sunny, I can go scrub it with the hose too.
Which, I should probably do the other stroller too so I can put it in hubby's car for him. It's my favorite little stroller. He should be honored it's going to grace his car. It's probably worth more then the car by now.
