Workwife?

Since the workwife is the cause of much irritation in my life, I think I need to explain a bit about her.

As my hubby puts it, she makes him happy, he comes home horny, and I shouldn't have a problem with that.

The problem I have with her (I should be fair, her and my hubby, since I don't talk to her), is that she doesn't have a husband or a boyfriend. For all intents and purposes, my hubby is her boyfriend. He's a great boyfriend! He knows all about waxing, and makeup, and what clothes to wear, and where the good places to shop are....wait...guess that makes him a good girlfriend!

I'm not all blameless in this. Hubby and I did split up for awhile (which is a loooong story). He told her that he liked her and she apparently had no idea he liked her at all, and then she got spooked and they didn't talk for a long while. Now we are together again, and who knows if she knows that (hubby swears she knows).

But come on ladies, what's greater then trying to take a man away from someone? It's like a trophy! I don't get what's great about a trophy with 5 tag a longs. Step parenting is hard enough with one, let alone 5 to deal with. But I don't think she's got much of a brain on that head for spending so much time with a married man.

Oh yes, and hubby was trying to help her find a boyfriend by driving her to the bar, hanging out with her, and driving her home. HELLO?? That's helpful isn't it?

To be fair, my hubby is a great guy to me. He's a great Dad. He spends a lot of time putting up with moving all the time for my job, and whatever my current thing is he is always supportive. I worry too much and obsess to much about the whole situation. I probably also need some hobbies that take up more of my time so that I don't wait around all day for my hubby to show up and entertain me.

But then I'd really love the workwife to come over and help with some of the wifely duties, like unballing hubby's socks and mopping floors.
