Thankfully, all of our activities are winding down for the summer. I rather like having unscheduled time when we can pack up and go places. The kids had their Awana awards.

The kids had a good year, and they had lots of fun doing the Grand Prix, Awana games, and the drive in movie night. Both boys only got halfway through their books, and Princess finished hers. I see lots of memorizing in their future so they can get caught up. Some of the verses are really hard! There are a few parents working though the books and racing their kids, so maybe next year I will race them through their books for the fun of it. At least I saved Daredevil's old book so I can start working with Princess on the starting verse over the summer. She likes to say things HER way, so getting her to say things the correct way will be interesting.
